March For Our Lives

March 24, 2018 — New York City — March For Our Lives —  The kids and families took to the streets of Washington, DC and New York City with sister marches across the United States and around the world,  demanding that their lives and safety become a priority.    The march gave a “voice” to the 17 students and faculty members killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, and a “voice” to all those who have perished in past shootings — rallying many across the United States in an effort to say enough to gun violence.

“March For Our Lives is created by, inspired by, and led by students across the country who will no longer risk their lives waiting for someone else to take action to stop the epidemic of mass school shootings that has become all too familiar. In the tragic wake of the seventeen lives brutally cut short at Majory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, politicians are telling us that now is not the time to talk about guns.  March For Our Lives believes the time is now.”
